7 secrets of finding the best low cost flights
When traveling abroad, we are always hunting for a good airline offer or discount coupons or some cash back. Sometimes we spend days and days for a good deal and end up moving around the web. So here I would like to give some smart tips and tricks to ensure you get the best price.

Tip #1: Booking in advance
If you have planned your trip and dates are final it is
always good to book tickets well in advance. Sometimes airlines keep discounts
for specific days. If you have tentative days Seven weeks is the ideal time to
book a short haul flight. Finding a great flight deal used to be all about
booking at the last minute, as airlines were desperate to get rid of their empty
seats. Today there are so many budget airlines and business travelers willing
to pay big bucks at the last minute that it’s no longer the case. So don't
procrastinate, and start searching as soon as you start planning your next
holiday.
Tip #2: Subscribe to offers
Subscribe to all the offers and let the airlines contact you
for the deals. If you're planning a weekend trip, keep an eye on your email on
Tuesday afternoons, since by that point most airlines will know if they are
filled up for the weekend. If there are extra seats left on the plane the
prices will be slashed and the deals will find their way right to you. Signing
up for newsletters from your favorite airlines will allow getting the best
deals the minute they roll out.
Tip #3 Be flexible
If you're feeling a little flexible when it comes to your
vacation destination, you don't have to limit your search results. Simply type
in your search date and destination. Airlines do give facility to provide the
option if the dates are flexible or not. You can provide that to airlines and
get best available deals.
Tip # 4: Save reward points
There are many airlines which give superb offers on reward
points. So why not spend it on a credit card that lets you save up points to
use towards travel? Many people assume that travel cards aren't worth it, as
they come with extra costs that cancel out the benefits. But not all cards
charge an annual fee. Whenever you enroll and use for daily needs, you get
extra benefits and start building up your points. This points can be used while
booking your trip, so never underestimate those reward cards.
Tip #5: Book for One way
Always search for a one-way booking. It is very convenient
to search for round trip, but it must not be the best deal you can get. So try
to book flight individually.
Many people assume that searching round-trip for a flight
will yield a better deal, and it's just oh so convenient. But, if you're really
looking for some cash you might be better off booking two one-way tickets,
rather than just one round-trip. This also gives you more flexibility in your
travels, as you can fly into one airport, then head out from another.
Tip #6: Try to book on weekend
As per the survey was done, as there are very fewer people
online - it is said to be the best time to avail discount. Many passengers
still believe Tuesday to be the magic day of the week, however since most
leisure travelers tend to book on the weekends, airlines will roll out deals to
appeal specifically to this audience.
Tip # 7: Gather flying hours
Some airline gives flying miles, flying hours free. They
have some promotion program and in that, you can add whatever miles you have
traveled with that airline and you can have some redemption on completion of
some decided miles or hours. Which has lifetime validity, it is always good to
keep looking for savings.
