Great Ocean Road Drive, Australia The highlights
The Great Ocean Road is one of the most popular road trips you can take along Australia. We started in Melbourne. A lot of surfers were trying their hands on the rough ocean. Torquay is the place where exactly the Great Ocean Road starts. I have mentioned some of the most beautiful spots as the highlight.

Razorback - Loch Ard
Gorge
The Great Ocean Road will
always be entertaining. The landscape
will change all the time. Well-known rock formations will rise up from the
ocean. The waves make an impressive, breaking sound. You can actually feel the
road, rocks, the waves talking. One of the most impressive places was the
Razorback - Loch Ard Gorge. It might not look that big, but in reality, you
will feel small. The ocean is rough and strong with crashing sound.
Otway National Park
Tourist Drive
When you driving along
the Otway National Park Tourist Drive - you will suddenly feel, you are driving
in the jungle. It is like the most wonderful part of nature. With a lot of hidden waterfalls and rippling
streams, you will enjoy the deep forest drive. Hopetoun Falls and the Erskine
Falls are two of them we enjoyed most. Walking around the trees was also a
great experience. You can find a park with walking bridges around the top of
the trees in Otway.
Kennett River
Halfway to the Great
Ocean Road, there is a small town called Kennett River. you can find lots of
colored lorikeets and koalas. There is not really much to see around here. One
of the most iconic Australian animals - koalas, this lovely creature can be
hard to find Down Under. In Kennett River, you can surely spot many. When we
were there we spotted 11. And it was indeed a great fun. These animals are completely
harmless, we enjoyed watching them. They climbed, hugged each other, they would
chase each other. The whole experience was just awesome.
Teddy’s Lookout
If you wish to have the most beautiful view over
the Great Ocean Road - go to Teddy’s Lookout, Lorne. This is one of those
places where anyone can easily stay for hours, just watching the ocean. Once
you leave this sport, the curling road will give you a real feeling of the road
trip. You will drive next to the water where the rest of the Great Ocean Road
leads close to the ocean.
