The Virgin Islands, the US offering $300 credits to visitors in 2017

The US Virgin Islands is celebrating its 100th year as a US
territory. The occasion will be on March 31st, 2017. On this day Denmark sold
the islands to the United States.
On this historical event the US Virgin Islands tourism board
has decided to offer visitors $300 in spending credits which can be used for
historical, cultural tours and activities on any of these three islands - St.
Croix, St. John and St. Thomas.
The islands are also putting on grand a party to celebrate,
there are events like cultural shows, grand parades and carnivals to enjoy in
March, while the celebrations will be there throughout the year with
arts-crafts and fun fairs, concerts and many more.
Visitors must stay for a minimum of three nights, and travel
between January 2 and December 31, 2017, to be eligible for the $300
credits.Travelers have until October 1, 2017, to receive the credit, which can
be used for any number of activities, including kayak tours through marine
sanctuaries and mangrove lagoons, snorkeling, horseback riding, sports fishing
and scuba diving. Not only that, Visitors who book travel to the islands in
March will also receive a commemorative "Centennial" souvenir.
Not all the hotels are not participating in above offer, so
make sure to check the list before getting it books.
