Itinerary
On arrival at Kathmandu airport,
and completion with immigration, customs clearance and luggage collection
please proceed to the exit. Look for the our representative in the arrival area
who will be holding a placard with the guest’s name. He will assist you in
being transferred to the hotel.
Kathmandu This day proceed for tour
of Kathmandu visiting Pashupatinath , Situated five kilometers east of
Kathmandu on the bank of sacred Bagmati river, the stemple of lord Shiva
Pashupatinath with two tiered golden roof and silver doors is famous for its
super architecture. It is a centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of Maha
Shivratri. Entrance to the temple precinct is permitted to the Hindus only
however, visitors can clearly see the temple and activities performed in the
temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river. Boudhanath,
Boudhanath is among the largest stupas in South Asia, and it has become the
focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The white mound looms thirty-six
meters overhead. The stupa is located on the ancient trade route to Tibet, and
Tibetan merchants rested and offered prayers here for many centuries. The stupa
is said to entomb the remains of a Kasyap sage who is venerable both to
Buddhists and Hindus. The Bouddha area is a visual feast. Colorful thangkas, Tibetan
jewellery, hand-woven carpets, masks, and khukuri knives are sold in the
surrounding stalls. Smaller stupas are located at the base. Gompa monasteries
curio shops, and restaurants surround Boudhanath. Conveniently situated
restaurants with roof-top patios provide good food and excellent views of
Boudhanath. Post the sightseeing return to the hotel. Stay Overnight at the
hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, fly to Pokhara , afternoon free at
Pokhara.
Kathmandu to Pokhra is 25
minutes flight. Once you arrive Pokhara, check in to the hotel.
Evening is free to stroll around and enjoy
boating in Phewa Lake. Pokhara
offers a variety of places to be explored such as the enchanting PhewaTaal or
Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal. The lake is stream fed but a dam
regulates the water reserve, therefore, it is classified as semi-natural
freshwater lake. The lake offers boating services to enjoy the beauty and
serenity Pokhara has to offer. Wooden boats can be rented along the shoreline.
The north shore of the lake has developed into a lakeside tourist hub with a
number of souvenir stores, bookshops, hotels, restaurants and bars catering to
tourists

Muktinath, situated at an
altitude of 3,710 meters (12,172 feet) in the Mustang district, Muktinath is a
highly venerated sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. Hindus call the
site MuktiKshetra, which literally means the "place of salvation" and
it is one of the most ancient temples of the God Vishnu and the Vaishnava
tradition in Nepal. The shrine is considered to be one of the eight sacred
places known as SvayamVyaktaKsetras (the other seven being Srirangam,
Srimushnam, Tirupati, Naimisharanya, Totadri, Pushkar and Badrinath), as well
as one of the 108 DivyaDesam, or holy places of worship of Lord Vishnu.
After
darshan of Muktinath drive back to Jomsom & overnight at hotel &
Dinner.

Palace: was the residence of the
Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama fled to India during the 1959 Tibetan
uprising. It is now a museum and World Heritage Site. The palace is named after
Mount Potalaka, the mythical abode of the bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara.See pilgrims making prostrating in front of Jokhang Temple.
Enter inside Jokhang Temple to see the holist statue of Buddha.
Barkhor Bazar : Barkhor
Bazaar is one of the most famous of all places to go shopping in Lhasa. This
circuitous street, that encompasses the world famous Jokhang Temple, is the best place to go to get
authentic, local-made souvenirs from Tibet. One of the oldest
streets in Lhasa, Barkhor Street was developed along with the Jokhang Temple in
the early part of the seventh century.

Drive from Hotel to starting point of
parikrama. After darshan at Yama Dwar, the first day of parikrama will begin. Enroute you have darshan of west face of Kailash.
Visit Charan Sparsh by foot
In the morning, start excursion to the
holy Charan Sparsha (touching the feet of the Lord at the base of the
mountain).
Access to Charan Sparsh is only by foot.
Pony is not available. Those who are unable to walk to Charan Sparsh may stay
back at Dirapuk guest house

Parikrama Day 2
Early morning, start trek from Dirapuk
towards Zuthulphuk. Trek uphill 6 km to Dolma La Pass. After
reaching top of the pass, then trek down to the valley floor. You will see Gauri Kunda while
descending from Dolma La Pass. This day is the longest and toughest day
of parikrama.
