located near the German border. The spa town was built during the Middle Ages
after the discovery of hot mineral springs. It is an elegant town with gracious

waters are used to treat all kinds of health disorders and for general
well-being. Famous past visitors include the Russian tsar Peter the Great and
poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The Czech Republic is well-known for its
beautiful crystal, and Moser glass is amongst the finest. We will visit the
workshops to observe the glassmaking process and maybe even try out some

Budapest today, as your travels take you across the Danube on the Margaret
Bridge, show you the House of Parliament, the Royal Castle, Fisherman's Bastion
and much more. Cross the Danube on the Margaret Bridge (Margaret Island) and
drive to the Royal Castle on the Buda side. Here you will visit the Fishermen's
Bastion (Promenade) and the Matthias Church (interior visit). Spend some time at leisure before you transfer back to the hotel for the night. [B]

breakfast today, enjoy an excursion into Hungary’s history – visit Visegrád,
the former Royal Residence, and Esztergom (Center of the Catholic Church).
After the interior visit of the Cathedral and some time on your own, we will
take a guided walk in the Baroque Artists’ Village Szentendre. Enter into the
spirit of the countryside as it was at the end of the 19th century. Handicraft
masters work in the houses and yards, sheep bleat in the detached farmstead,
the water mill is crushing grain, and the delicious smell of strudel comes from
a bakery. The buildings are arranged just like they were in the original
villages, and you can get to know the daily lives of adults and children
through the objects they used. Afterwards, transfer back to the hotel. [B]

breakfast, take a guided tour of the scenic capital of Slovakia. Your trip to
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, begins by modern public transit bus at
8:30 am. Your guide for the city walk will be waiting for you upon arrival, and
will take you through the picturesque old town. After lunch, you´ll have plenty
of time to stroll around the city, shop or visit one of the numerous coffee
houses, restaurants, shops or cultural sights. Most importantly, you won´t want
to miss the castle in Bratislava. At 2 p.m. you leave Bratislava and arrive at
the State Opera House, in Vienna, at 3.15 pm.
