After breakfast, transfer to Freshwater Rail Station for this historic train station before it is "All Aboard" for the historic rail journey which will take you past sugar cane fields and up the slopes leading to the Barron Gorge. The journey ends in Kuranda, principal town of the Atherton Tablelands, located some 2000 feet above sea level and a rich farmland area. Free time to stroll around this beautiful tropical village enjoy the train station & discover the market independently. Enjoy local lunch in the quaint town.  After relaxing & enjoying this tranquil village, take a walk to the Kuranda Skyrail Station where you catch the scenic Skyrail Gondola for the journey back to the coast, literally passing through and over the heights of the rainforest. After breakfast, transfer to the Wharf to board your Big Cat catamaran to Green Island. Enjoy snorkeling, swimming, seeing the fish feeding and a ride in a semi-submersible boat (included) and glass bottom boat (included).  See the beautiful corals with their amazing range of brilliant colors. This morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Melbourne.  On arrival you will be met and transferred for lunch.  Afterwards, depart on a half day tour of Melbourne.  Visit Town Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, National Tennis center, the 1956 Olympic venue, the Shrine of Remembrance, Bourke Street Mall and some beautifully-restored Victorian houses.  In the evening, transfer for your welcome Dinner. After breakfast, depart on your adventure along the Great Ocean Road.  Soak up the sights of Australia's most scenic drive on a Great Ocean Road day trip from Melbourne. After breakfast today, enjoy a morning tour of Melbourne Cricket Ground (entrance included).  Then it’s off to Philip Island and the miracle of the Penguin Parade.  Take a jacket, you’ll be on the beach as these amazing little penguins come out of the sea and into their nests on the beach.   Late at night, transfer back to Melbourne for the night. On arrival, enjoy lunch (lunch will be either prior to departure or upon arrival depending on flight time) and a city sightseeing tour, including a visit to the International Arctic Center.  Visit Hagley Park and Antigua Boatsheds, Botanic Gardens and The River Avon, Canterbury Museum and Arts Centre, Christchurch Art Gallery (if open), Provincial Chambers, Catholic Basilica, Bridge of Remembrance and Friendship Corner, Cashel St ReStart Shipping Container Mall, Christchurch Cathedral and new Cardboard Cathedral, Art Deco New Regent Street, AMI Stadium. After breakfast at the hotel, depart for your coach journey to  Queenstown.  Arrive and transfer to the hotel before it’s time to go to dinner.  [B,L,D]

After breakfast, take a city tour and ride the Skyline Gondola (tickets included) and one luge ride at the top (ticket included).  Enjoy Lunch and dinner. Visit Arrowtown, the Kawarau Gorge to see the bungy jumpers and try a jump if you dare!  Visit a local winery and cheese store (wine-tasting not included).  Visit a local fruit and nut store as well.  Tonight enjoy a Maori cultural show.  Overnight at the hotel. After breakfast, depart for a full day trip to Milford Sound. Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. The scenery changes dramatically from tussock covered grasslands to glacier hewn valleys as you enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound.  Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls.  Lunch is on board. On completion you will return to Queenstown by coach. Arrive Queenstown at approximately 10:30pm. An optional return scenic flight to Queenstown is available (own expense). Dinner tonight. After breakfast at the hotel, depart for your coach journey to to Mt. Cook.  On the way to or from, visit some of the famous filming locations for the iconic Lord of the Rings trilogy which was shot in New Zealand.  Arrival at Mount Cook Village, where you enjoy lunch. Explore the village and soak up the views of Aoraki / Mount Cook as it towers above. You'll also have the chance to take a scenic flight over this breathtaking alpine region (additional cost, weather permitting – this flight can be arranged with your driver guide on the day).  You have time at leisure in Mt. Cook Village.  Enjoy the drive to Queenstown and transfer to the hotel. Dinner is included. Overnight at the hotel. [B,L,D]

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Auckland.  Upon arrival in Auckland, a full-day sightseeing in Auckland and cover as many sights as time permits.  Afterwards, drive onwards to Rotorua.  Dinner and lunch is included today. Overnight at the hotel. [B,L,D] 

After breakfast you will spend the day sightseeing in Rotorua.  You will visit the famous sights of Rotorua which includes Green and Blue Lakes, Te Puia, Geothermal reserve to view the boiling mudpools and cascading Pohutu geyser, that make Rotorua famous as New Zealand's "thermal city". Here you can also enjoy a visit to the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute to view local Maori carvers in action. Witness a sheep shearing show at Agrodome Farm and a rare opportunity to spot the native bird Kiwi at Paradise Valley Springs. Lunch and dinner is included. [B,L,D]

Breakfast at the hotel, you depart Rotorua and travel over the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach Waitomo.  Upon arrival in Waitomo, enjoy a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves including an underground boat ride (weather permitting).  Lunch and dinner is included. [B,L,D] 

After breakfast on March 3 morning, depart for a cruise to Waiheke Island for a guided tour.  Enjoy a 40 minute ferry ride across to Waikheke Island.  Embark on a 1.5-hour sightseeing tour around the island by coach.  Teeming with farms, forests, vineyards, olive groves, beaches and seaside villages, this popular destination provides a great escape from the bustling city. Hear informative commentary about Waiheke Island culture, including its history as a hippie haven in the 1960s. Learn of the burgeoning artisan wine industry and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and protected natural environment as you stop at scenic lookouts and beaches with stunning coastal vistas. After breakfast, transfer to the airport and board your flight to Nadi, Fiji!  Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to check-in and freshen up. [B,D]

Enjoy breakfast before a trip to magical Tivua island.  Encircled by white-sand beaches and surrounded by coral reef, the pristine tropical island functions as a sea turtle sanctuary during nesting season. After hotel pickup, step aboard the Ra Marama, a brigantine (two-masted sailing ship) built in 1957 and named after a 19th-century war canoe. Enjoy Fijian music by the entertaining crew and watch for dolphins playing in the bow wave as you’re served morning tea aboard the tall ship. Upon arrival at Tivua Island, take part in a yaqona (kava) welcome ceremony. You can decide how to while away the hours: swim in the azure sea, stroll around the island, or sunbathe on the sandy shoreline. If you're feeling energetic, a selection of activities such as snorkeling, beach volleyball, reef fishing and canoeing is included. Or perhaps set out for some coral viewing on a glass-bottom boat tour. Dig into a buffet luncheon including barbecue chicken, whole baked fish, sausages, fresh salads, fruit and fresh-baked bread rolls accompanied by local beer, wine and soft drinks. After breakfast today, enjoy a half-day of sightseeing.  Visit some of Fiji’s most unusual and fantastic locales with this guided exploration of its traditional villages, botanical gardens, craft markets, and even a towering Hindu temple outside of Nadi.  From your hotel, meet your guide and drive by rolling sugarcane fields and local villages to the historic town of Viseisei. The fabled site of the canoe landing of the first Melanesian people to arrive in Fiji, Viseisi is home to a traditional ceremonial bure hut and a small craft market. After touring the village, set off for the Sleeping Giant Orchid Gardens, a vast botanical park that houses more than 2,000 varieties of orchids. Stroll along the canopied boardwalks, pass by stretches of landscaped lawns, and duck under branches in the rainforest as you admire the delicate flowers on display in this horticultural treasure.  Next, make your way to the Sri Siva Subrahmaniya Swami Temple. This colorful and ornate edifice is a prime example of Dravidian architecture and the largest Hindu temple in the southern hemisphere. Gaze up at the elaborate representations of Hindu myths that decorate the temple’s exterior and interior. Then head to the town of Nadi, where you can spend time chatting with the locals and shopping for Fijian wares at the market before the return trip to your hotel.before it’s off to the airport for your flight back home!
