Itinerary

On arrival at Varanasi Lal Bahadur Shastri Intl. Airport meet our driver and transfer to Hotel for check-in and afternoon proceed for excursion to Sarnath – here Lord Buddha preached his first sermon to his five disciples after he attained enlightenment at Bodhgaya, Here visit Dhamekha Stupa, Ashok Pillar, Chowkhandi Stupa and Mulagandha Kuti Vihar and overnight stay at Varanasi.

Early morning boat ride on river Ganges to see sunrise and followed by city tour of Varanasi: visit Ghats and Temples on the bank of river Ganges, Afternoon free at leisure and evening proceed to site the Ganga Aarti at Ganges river and back to hotel and overnight stay at Varanasi.

Breakfast at Hotel; Morning check-out hotel and proceed to Bodh Gaya, the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment and upon arrival at check-in into hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.

Breakfast at Hotel; Morning proceed for full day city tour of Bodhgaya, visit to Bodhi tree, Mahabodhi Temple – which marks the spot where Buddha gained enlightenment and set out on his life of preaching, Monasteries, Magadha university and overnight stay at Bodhgaya.

Breakfast at Hotel; Morning check-out hotel and proceed to Rajgir – were Buddha spent 12 years and the first Buddha council after Buddha attained nirvana was held here, Nalanda is just 19 Kms from Rajgir, Founded in 5th century BC, was one of the world's great universities and an important Buddhist center, A credit to the curators, the site is peaceful, clean, well-maintained and perfumed with the scent of roses and shrubs, check-in into hotel and overnight stay at Rajgir.

Early Breakfast at Hotel; Morning check-out hotel and drive to Kushinagar – Lord Buddha is reputed to have breathed his last words “Decay is inherent in all components things" and expired at Kushinagar. Enroute visit Vaishali (where Buddha preached his last sermon) visit Asoka pillar, Stupas, Coronation Tank, Bawan Pokhar Temple, Chaumukhi Mahadeva, on arrival at Kushinagar, check-in into Hotel and overnight stay at Kushinagar.

Breakfast at Hotel; check-out hotel and drive to Lumbini, which is famous in the world for being the sacred site of Lord Buddha’s birth. Upon arrival, check in at hotel for overnight stay. Later visit Maya Devi Temple which is believed to be the spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha in 563 BC. The temple is enclosed by the brick foundations of monasteries and ancient temples. The ground floor of the temple still has remains of the ruins of the ancient Maya Devi Temple dating back to 3rd century BC. There is an adjoining garden which is considered to be sacred and there is also ancient pillar of Ashoka and ancient ruins of old stupas. You will find many traditional robed monks under a spreading Bodhi (pipal) tree which is adorned with prayer flags. There is a sacred pond beside the temple which is believed to be the birth spot where Maya Devi bathed before giving birth to the Buddha.

After breakfast at hotel proceed for visit Mahaparinirvana temple & Rambhar stupa , the huge statue of the Reclining Buddha, Mukutbandhana, Afternoon drive to Varanasi, This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with your traveling companions of an unforgettable journey. Up-on arrival check in at hotel, and overnight stay at Varanasi hotel.
