This day you will be taken for a trip to the very heart of India. Your sightseeing will cover Qutab Minar, Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Gandhi Memorial. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Agra [209 km; 2.6 hrs]. On arrival in Agra, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon you will visit the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is everything that has been said about it and more. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tribute to his late wife, it is known as “the tear drop on the cheek of me”. Overnight at the hotel.
In the morning after breakfast you will proceed to visit the Agra Fort ‐ the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. After Agra Fort drive to Jaipur, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri [37 km; 1 hr], the deserted capital of the former Mughal Emperor Akbar. Continue your journey to Jaipur [206 km; 3.5 hrs.] where on arrival you will check‐in to your hotel. In the evening, you will visit the City Palace. Overnight at the hotel.
Morning after breakfast you will proceed to visit Amber Fort, and see the Sheesh Mahal, Jai Mahal and temple of Kali. Ascend, on elephant back, the hill on which the fort is situated. Later proceed to the adjacent Jantar Mantar or Astronomical Observatory made by the Maharaja of Jaipur. Lastly visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Overnight at Hotel.
