Depart on your flight to Scandinavia and the adventure of a life-me!

On arrival at the airport in Bergen, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check-in and relax.  Afterwards, meet your guide and begin a 2 hour city tour followed by dinner and ride on the funicular to the top of beautiful Bergen for wonderful views and photo ops. [D]

After breakfast, set off to take a mini-cruise on Sognefjord. Then travel from Gudvangen to Flam, where you’ll take the famous Flam Railway to Myrdal and back. Then, proceed to Oslo via coach. [B,L,D]

During the visit of the Norwegian Capital you will admire the Royal Palace, the National Theater, the Parliament, the Opera House by the water front, and the medieval Akershus fortress. There will be me for a pleasant stroll through the Frogner Park with the controversial sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. [B,L,D]

After breakfast today, enjoy a journey to Copenhagen, Denmark, with a stop in Malmo.  Malmö is reached crossing the strait of Øresund via the spectacular suspension bridge linking the Danish capital to the second town of Sweden. In Malmö You will admire the famous Turning Torso located in the modern coastal quarters BO1, the Malmö Castle, the Senate Square, and the old town with the cobble stone streets and pleasant atmosphere.  Afterwards, continue on to Copenhagen, Denmark. The visit of Copenhagen takes You into the heart of the Danish capital, full of historical buildings and ancient streets. You will see the Little Mermaid and the Gefion fountain, the Royal residence Amalienborg Palace and the Nyhavn Canal with its charming outdoor restaurants and picturesque cafés, the Christiansborg Castle, the home of the Danish Parliament, the Royal Opera House, and many more sights. This morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Reykjavik, Iceland.  Upon arrival, it’s straight to the legendary Blue Lagoon for a rejuvenating dip in the natural hot springs.  Afterwards, transfer to your hotel to relax before it’s me to meet the group for dinner. [B,L,D]  

Today  visit  Golden  Circle,  we  start  by  driving  to  Thingvellir  National  Park.  This  is  a historical area where the Icelandic Parliament was held for several centuries. It is also considered one of the geological wonders of the world, at Thingvellir you can see the effects of the tectonic plate movements which have opened various cracks and fissures in  the  earth’s  crust. After  taking  a  walk  in  the  unique  landscape  of  Thingvellir,  we continue to the famous geothermal area of Geysir. There the Strokkur hot spring ejects its water column high into the air every 5 – 10 minutes or so and numerous other small springs are boiling and bubbling. Then we only have a short drive to reach Gullfoss, a magnificent waterfall which Icelanders refer to as the “golden” waterfall, surely one of the most beautiful in Iceland.  [B,L,D]

After breakfast today, take a day trip to the region of Landmannalaugar.  This picturesque backdrop of mountains and water will be sure to leave you awe-struck.  Head back to Reykjavik afterwards. [B,L,D]
