Depart for your European holiday!

Today arrive Lisbon after your flight.  Check in to your hotel. Afternoon proceed for Lisbon City Tour. Lisbon is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. First you will be driven across the 25th April Bridge to Belem (if possible), which is the historical section of Lisbon. Here you can admire Torre de Belem, ex-libris of Lisbon and jewel of manueline art. You will then be taken to the Padrao dos Descobrimentos, a modern monument dedicated to the Portuguese maritime discoveries. Followed by a visit of the church at the Monasteiro dos Jeronimos. After that you will visit the Coach Museum, which is home to one of the best coach collections in Europe. Along the river you will arrive at Alfama, an old traditional district, where you will have the opportunity to walk in its narrow streets and visit a handicraft shop where you taste an aperitif of Porto wine. You will continue to Praca do Comercio, the biggest and most beautiful square in Lisbon Baixa-Rosso in the centre of the town and finally to Avenida da liberdade and Marques de Pombal. Leaving Lisbon, we drive northwards and arrive at our first point of the visit: the beautiful walled town of Obidos with its narrowed streets and the Pousada do castelo. We then drive to Alcobaca where we can visit the 12th century Church of the Monastery with the tombs of Pedro and Ines de Castro. We drive to Nazare' the most colourful Portuguese fishing village, where we stop for lunch (not included). If possible, we will go to the Sitio for a panoramic view of the beach and village. In the afternoon we go to Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic considered a heritage of humanity by UNESCO. Finally we arrive at Fatima's Sanctuary, centre of Christian faith and a place of world pilgrimage, to visit the Basilica where the tombstone of Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco are, as well as the Chapel of Apparitions, heart of the shrine. Eventually we will have time to attend the mass. At the end of the day we will return to Lisbon through the colorful farming region. Overnight in Lisbon. [B,D]

Today after breakfast depart from Lisbon and arrive Seville. On arrival Check in to your hotel and prepare for the half-day sightseeing tour of Seville which includes the Cathedral of Santa María, the biggest cathedral in Spain and the Royal Alcazar, once the residence of the kings of Spain. Later we continue to the historical Santa Cruz district (can be explored by foot) Overnight in Seville. [B,D]

Visit Fascinante Full Day Tour of Sevilla Today after Breakfast discover the most emblematic monuments of Seville,  the University, the Old Tabac Factory, the Plaza de Espana, the centerpiece of the 1929 Iberoamerican Exposition, San Telmo Palace, The Golden Tower, Isabel II bridge. We will then discover Santa Cruz, the famous Jewish quarter: a labyrinth of narrow streets which lead to the gorgeous Plaza de los Venerables. We will start our tour by visiting the Royal Alcazares, World Heritage and one of the most remaining examples of Mudejar architecture and the visit of the Cathedral of Seville, the largest gothic cathedral of the world, where Christopher Columbus' remains lie. Free time. In the afternoon we will visit the Bullring with the taurine museum of the Real Maestranza. We will continue by coach with a lovely sightseeing tour of the famous neighbourhood of Triana, old sailors' and potters' neighbourhood and we will visit the Basilica Macarena. We will end with a wonderful boat trip along the Guadalquivir River. Overnight in Seville. [B,D]

Today after Breakfast, Proceed to Granada. On arrival Check in to your hotel. Our morning sightseeing tour visits the exquisite Alhambra Palace, Spain's most beautiful Moorish building and former residence of the Moorish Kings Later spend the Evening watching Granada Flamenco Show, Granada has produced some of the most important figures of Flamenco and they have often come from Sacromonte. Spend an evening with a difference at the Sacromonte flamenco caves while enjoying a unique performance and having a drink. Overnight in Granada. [B,D]

Travel through the sherry wine region of Jerez to Algeciras and enjoy a FERRY RIDE across the Straits of Gibraltar to Morocco. Follow North Africa’s infamous Barbary Coast to Rabat, once a lair of the corsairs and now the country’s capital.

Sightseeing with a Local Guide focuses on the massive medieval battlements, the Royal Palace, MAUSOLEUM OF MOHAMMED V, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of Oudaias. Also visit the fine ROMAN RELICS OF CHELLAH. Continue to Casablanca, Morocco’s modern seaport.  A special lunch has been prepared at Rick’s Café Américain, famous from the movie Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, and the song As Time Goes By. Your guided panoramic drive features a visit to the HASSAN II MOSQUE, a splendid monument designed to mark the end of the century. Evening arrival in Marrakesh. [D]

Follow your Local Guide and visit BAHIA PALACE, the 16th-century SAADIAN TOMBS (if closed, visit the BADIA PALACE instead), and to Djemaa El-Fna, the vibrant town center dominated by the 222-foot-high Koutoubia Minaret.

Today, travel to Morocco’s Hollywood, Ouarzazate, deep in the desert and immortalized through movies like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. We also visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.  Later, visit KASBAH TAOURIRT.

A fascinating drive through the desert via the Dades Valley with its oases filled with olives, dates, and figs. Then, head through Morocco’s Grand Canyon, Todra Gorge, to Erfoud in the heart of the Sahara. A special treat awaits you: Enjoy a spectacular FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE to the sand dune of Erg Chebbi. Admire the unforgettable and romantic sunset and sip the traditional mint tea before heading back to your hotel to savor a typical Moroccan dinner.

Enjoy your last views of the desert and turn northwards. Stop in Er Rachidia, originally built as a French settlement, and travel via the Ziz Gorges and the Middle Atlas mountains to Fez. Blessed with an ample supply of water and strategically situated, Fez became the capital of Morocco when the country shook off foreign rule under Berber King Idris in the 8th century. To this day, Fez has remained Morocco’s spiritual and artistic center.

See the magnificent entrance to the Royal Palace, drive through the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter, and travel on to Bab Bou Jeloud, the traditional entrance to Old Fez. Your Local Guide also leads you through labyrinthine MEDINA and MEDERSA BOU INANIA.           

After breakfast this morning, transfer to Tangier where you'll take the ferry back to Costa Del Sol, Spain.  Upon arrival, meet your local PKT guide and transfer to your hotel to relax before it's time for dinner. [B,D]

Today depart from Malaga and proceed to Madrid. After check in, proceed for a half day city tour. Visit Toledo is a city of great artistic beauty. It was once the capital of the country and is now one of the oldest cities in Europe. During a walking tour of the city centre, we visit the city's most famous monuments such as St Tome Church, Santa Maria la Blanca Synanogue, the Victorio Macho Museum and San Juan de Los Reyes Church. Today after Breakfast, proceed to Madrid City Tour. This tour will give you an overall impression of the city of Madrid. It includes views from the coach of Plaza de Espana, Royal Palace, Plaza de Oriente, Plaza de la Cibeles, Puerta de Alcala and Gran Via. The highlight of this tour is a visit to Prado Museum, the best collection in the world of Spanish paintings. You will see the masterpieces by El Greco, Velazquez and Goya as well as the gold century great artists including Ribera, Zurbaran and Murillo and the Italian painting by Tiziano. Today after Breakfast depart from Madrid and Proceed to Valencia. On arrival Check in to your hotel. Discover the glimpses of the historical city of Valencia with the services of a local Guide. You will start this tour by visiting The Cathedral, standing on the site of a former mosque and which dates from 1262. The Cathedral has been added to and modified many times over the centuries. We will then continue viewing the magnificent Gothic building of La Lonja (the silk exchange) declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today after Breakfast Depart from Valencia and Proceed to Barcelona. Check in at the hotel and by afternoon proceed to The Monastery of Montserrat for a half day tour. It is located 60 km away from Barcelona at the incomparable setting of the mountain of Montserrat, rising majestically to 1235 metres. There is also a museum housing one of the best collections in the country and the Shrine of the Patron Saint of Catalonia, La Moreneta or the Black Virgin. Overnight in Barcelona. [B,D]  

Today after Breakfast we depart from the bus terminal and proceed into Via Layetana, visiting the Cathedral, the Gothic Quarter, Sant Jaume Square, the Port and the Olympic Village. We also pass the Columbus Statue, Mont juic, the Olympic Stadium and St Jordi Palace. Then there is time for a visit to the 'Spanish Village' where you'll be able to taste Catalan cava and there will be some free time to explore and take lunch (lunch is included). In the afternoon we visit Gaudi's Park Guell and have a brief stop at the Sagrada Familiar. Then we will have a view of the Lleo Morera, Ametller and Mila houses. Overnight in Barcelona. [B,D]
