Board your flight and begin your journey to Vietnam and Cambodia! 

Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, transfer to your hotel.  After you freshen up, we depart to visit the Reunification Palace and War Remnant's Museum, before passing by Dong Khoi Street, City Hall, Municipal Theatre, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office. [L,D] 

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Mekong Delta and the town of My Tho. Visit the ancient Vinh Trang Pagoda, then take a boat ride for a first-hand experience of daily life on Mekong River, pass well-known orchards on the islands, a coconut-candy factory, an apiary, a local village and more. Have lunch in a local restaurant, which is  famous for its “Elephant Ear Fish” specialty. On the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City, take a stopover at Dong Tam snake Farm. Return to Saigon for dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight  in Ho Chi Minh City. [B,L,D]

After breakfast at the hotel, we then depart for the exotic Cao Dai Temple at Tay Ninh province. We will attend the colorful midday service of this unusual cult and continue to the famous Cu Chi underground tunnel system to experience how the Vietcong (name of Vietnamese soldiers) lived and fought in the American War. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Back to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner in an Indian restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.  [B,L,D]

After an early breakfast transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your morning flight to Hanoi (07.30 am – 09.30 am). Upon arrival, transfer to the city center of Hanoi for sightseeing. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and its complex with the Presidential Palace, house on a stilt and One Pillar Pagoda. Then go to the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Saint Joseph Cathedral, and the Ethnology Museum. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.  In the evening, enjoy a water puppet show followed by dinner at an Indian restaurant.  [B,L,D]

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Ha Long Bay (3-hour drive).  Arrive in Ha Long and take the boat cruise in Ha Long Bay for 4-hours. Visit Dau Go Island and Thien Cung Caves, enjoy the spectacular view along Ha Long Bay and have lunch on the boat.  Watch rural Vietnamese daily life unfold as you pass water buffalo, ancient temples and local farmers at work in the rice paddies en route to Ha Long Bay. Called the “Bay of the Descending Dragons,” legend has it that dragons, sent by the gods to help defend the land against ancient invaders, spat out jewels and jade that became the thousands of emerald-green islands and islets that dot the bay today. Enjoy an overnight cruise among the limestone islands. This experience is unforgettable. Transfer back to Hanoi and then enjoy an Indian dinner in Hanoi. Overnight in Boat Trip of Halong Bay. After breakfast on the junkboat, transfer back to Hanoi for your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Upon arrival at Siem Reap international airport transfer and check in at your hotel. Visit Angkor Wat temple and view the sunset at Bakheng Hill. Tonight’s dinner will include an Apsara dance show. Overnight in Siem Reap. [B,L,D]

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.  Today, we visit the South gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace and Terrace of Leper King. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang, Ta Ke Thommanon, Chau Say, Tevoda. Have dinner at a local restaurant and over night in Siem Reap. [Note: Visit to Preah Khan, Kraven, Neak Pean, Krol Ko, Ta Som and East Mebong only if time permits.] Spend the night in Siem Reap. [B,L,D]

After breakfast, depart for rest of city tour and then transfer to the airport for your flight home. [B]
