Italy was on my list for 3 years! The only place I waited so long to visit, but after the experience I realized, the wait was all worth for!

I felt eternal love in the air of italy!

Day One:

We departed for our so much awaited Italy tour, Italy has too much to offer especially to the ones who are fond of the ancient monuments and great history.

Day Two :

We landed Rome, Italy in the morning, We were the group of 25, all between 25 - 40, The best thing traveling with PKT tours the USA is, They plan your trip considering the whole group, their choices. So we are always given the little bit of everything on our tour; history, culture and a bit of nightlife and fun! Today was given to us to feel the love in the air and to relax.

Day Three and Four :

We spent the day touring the ancient ruins and Colosseum. So breathtaking to see ancient history still standing! My mind was blown in Rome.  One of my favorite moments from my entire trip was, getting to tour The Vatican and stand in the Sistine Chapel. Everywhere I looked especially up! I was mesmerized.

When I walked into the Sistine Chapel the holy-ist place in the world, I felt like I was in heaven. I could feel the purity in the air.It was so divine and peaceful!
I was absolutely blown away by Michelangelo’s artwork leading into the chapel, to the point where it took my breath away. He painted 3D images well before his time in such a way that each piece looks like it’s made of marble columns or solid gold. It’s amazing to think what he was able to do by just using different styles of paint, brush strokes and shading.

The Colosseum in Rome was the largest and most advanced amphitheater the ancient world had ever seen. Even today, it stands as one of the architectural wonders of history. I loved the Colosseum! It is so grand and amazing. It takes some time to see the whole place. A huge monument that takes you back in time. These two days felt like spent in heaven!

We couldn’t end our time in Rome without trying their delicious food. After the tour, we head out to a pizza party, where we also got to witness a pizza making demonstration the authentic way! And the finishing was the GELATO!

Day Five:

We were not extremely excited about what is coming next after the great Rome! We started for Florence. After check in we were all given time to just enjoy the evening and relax.

Day six :

We left for the Half Day tour to Pisa. Piazza dei Miracoli, the Square of Miracles. As you approach, you will get the chance to catch sight of this marvelous place with its Leaning Tower and other beautiful buildings that surround it - the Baptistery, the Cathedral and the Monumental Cemetery (representing the cycle of life).
The Cathedral is a wonderful example of Pisan-Romanesque architecture whose white-and-grey marble façade has been decorated with polychrome marble, creating a great first impact.

Day seven :

Today we went into Florence for a leather making demonstration, a walking tour and some free time to shop and take some great photos. We got to see the famous Florence Cathedral and Duomo along with shopping for some authentic Italian leather. Florence is considered the birthplace of Renaissance so Renaissance art, architecture, and design are everywhere you look.

Day Eight:

Our Italian adventure was going to end in Venice. It was like the whole new pack of life we living!

Day Nine:

After the breakfast, we were all ready for the most awaited and exciting destination “Venice”. Exploring Venice and just wandering was so incredible.  There is indeed too little to see compared to places like Florence and Rome, that it was wonderful to just wander around, look at the beautiful buildings and squares, and admire the insane water views everywhere you looked.

we were stunned by how beautiful it was.Venice is little touristy and expensive, But the experience was totally different on its own. Visiting the San Giorgio tower and getting to see the city from up high was one of the best experiences. It let you see just how fragile the whole city was, this collection of tiny islands with thousands of people in buildings,  the whole place felt more special and precarious.

Day Ten:

and there comes the end!
It was tough to leave but it’s always nice to know you’re headed back to your own bed! I must say
Such a monumental country to be. Rich in history that fills with love in the air as in every step lined the stone brick walkway.
